The Honey Blue Challenge

blue powder and gold watch

Prelude

Passionate about the 1970s, our client wanted to shape his timepiece to capture the essence of watches from that era, while working with only one color: intense blue. The challenge was to create a perfect symbiosis between this unique blue and gold, the material of the timepiece entrusted to us. The Honey Blue Challenge embodies the precious balance of a unique contrast.

The fusion of gold and blue evokes the elegance of antique timepieces and watchmaking refinement. Each modification was realized to give our client’s timepiece a vintage look. The dial is embellished with a sunray finish, a decorative element that enhances the intense blue. The hands of the counters are flame-blued to delicately magnify the bakelite bezel.
