Passionate about the 1970s, our client wanted to shape his timepiece to capture the essence of watches from that era, while working with only one color: intense blue. The challenge was to create a perfect symbiosis between this unique blue and gold, the material of the timepiece entrusted to us. The Honey Blue Challenge embodies the precious balance of a unique contrast.
This personalization has been requested by a private customer. It is a sample of our know-how and of the personalization services made upon request of our customers. If you would like to customize your timepiece in the same way or following your wishes, please contact us. Please note that due to the limited capacity of our workshops, we are not able to satisfy every demands so please accept our apologies in advance.

The fusion of gold and blue evokes the elegance of antique timepieces and watchmaking refinement. Each modification was realized to give our client’s timepiece a vintage look. The dial is embellished with asunray finish, a decorative element that enhances the intense blue. The hands of the counters are flame-blued to delicately magnify the bakelite bezel.

The Bezel
Crafted in our workshops, the Bakelite bezel features a subtle blend of gold and intense blue. The piece is enhanced by a honey gold transfer.
The Dial
The blue dial has been entirely reworked, complementing the vintage look of the timepiece. We have applied a sunray finish to it.
The Case
The case pays tribute to vintage timepieces. We have removed the crown-guard to give it the look of antique watches.
The Craftsmen’s View
00 — 00
We wanted to find the right balance between contemporary shades and the watchmaking codes of vintage timepieces. The blend of deep blue and honey gold lends the timepiece a unique and particularly romantic look.
We have highlighted The Honey Blue Challenge with a series of handcrafted finishes resonating with the 1970s, giving a whole new dimension to our client’s timepiece: Bakelite bezel, domed plexiglass, machined case, and a special polishing.

Our client wanted a leather bracelet, reminiscent of vintage watches. We designed a navy alligator strap entirely made by hand. It enhances the color harmony of the timepiece while giving it a unique elegance.
