"I discovered Artisans de Genève a few years ago while searching online for watch customization. I was looking for someone who could create something special, starting from scratch, with a made-to-order design. That’s how I found the Artisans de Genève website."

Why did you choose Artisans de Genève for your project?

"I recognized in Artisans de Genève a real spirit of innovation and a perfect balance between sportiness and elegance. Looking through the previous projects on the website, I felt they were very close to my taste and my personality."

Are you more of an enthusiast or a collector?

"I am an enthusiast. I love watches and I own more than twenty-five of them, but I’m not a collector in the strict sense of the word. I need to fall in love with a watch. I’m not looking for the latest trend. I’m looking for something special, something that gives me emotion, values and a real connection. That’s exactly what I found in Artisans de Genève’s creations."

What does personalization mean to you?

"Personalization allows you to have the perfect watch according to your needs, your desires and your wishes. It is made-to-measure, made-to-order. It creates something that is very close to your soul."

Tell us about your creation. How is it different from your other watches?

"When I received the Artisans de Genève newsletter and discovered the André Agassi project, it was love at first sight. I immediately loved the idea behind the project and the design of the watch. I chose the version with the purple lava sub-dials because I felt it was perfect as it was.

Compared to my other watches, this one is completely different. The titanium case is incredibly light and resistant. I own several Daytonas—from vintage references to modern models—but this watch is something entirely new. It keeps the heart of the Daytona while creating a perfect balance between modernity and its historical design."

A memory you’d like to share?

"My experience with Artisans de Genève has been excellent. When I visited the workshop in Geneva, everyone welcomed me warmly. You could immediately feel the passion throughout the workshop. Everyone has a specific role, but you can feel the same passion, the same expertise and the same level of craftsmanship in every person you meet."
