Each Customization Tells A Story, Yours

A Workshop Dedicated To Others

Since its creation in 2005, Artisans de Genève has aimed to build a manufacture entirely dedicated to the other. Here, the client is at the center of everything we do. We create a unique experience in which he becomes the sole decision-maker of his personalization. Our mission is to guide and advise him so that he experiences a truly singular journey.

A Journey Through Our Crafts

Every craft focused on your project. We developed a series of dedicated departments, ranging from first contact to technical drawing, from gouaché to prototyping, from the workshop to quality control. Each of these seven departments plays an essential role in transforming every detail into a unique piece.

Bespoke Advisor

Guidance at every step.

The Bespoke Advisor is the department dedicated to the personalized support of each client. Our advisors, drawing on their experience within the various departments of Artisans de Genève, listen to and analyze the needs of every project. They become the client’s main point of contact, conveying his wishes to the team and defining, with the technical office, the precise specifications. A moodboard is then created and submitted to the client to refine the project. It is continuous guidance, from the first contact to the delivery of the timepiece.

Technical Office

Defining to achieve.

The Technical Office is a key department that connects the client’s request with the work to be carried out by the workshop and artisans. Based on the moodboard defined with the client, it specifies dimensions, measurements, shapes, and volumes so that each Artisan understands the request precisely. This ensures a clear and methodical response to the expectations and allows us to anticipate the resources needed.

Gouaché Artist

A memory captured in an instant.

The Graphic Design and Bespoke Packaging department extends personalization into the finest details. It creates booklets and packaging tailored to each client’s specific requests. The department designs a booklet that tells the story of each personalization and its owner — a printed and timeless keepsake. Our graphic designers propose several concepts to document and preserve each personalization in a unique way.

Prototyping

Imagine, create, validate.

The Prototyping department creates prototypes of new components according to client requests. Whether cases, hands, dials, additional modules, external parts, or movements, everything passes through this department to ensure feasibility, functionality, and final quality before approval. It ensures that every new component requested by clients meets the highest standards before final validation.

The Workshop

Where hands bring pieces to life.

The Workshop at Artisans de Genève is composed of a dozen complete watchmakers, each with more than fifteen years of experience. These artisans handle the client’s watch from start to finish — disassembling, modifying, decorating, and reassembling it entirely by hand according to the client’s precise criteria. Every movement and external component is personalized with complete know-how, from pure watchmaking to decoration. This comprehensive expertise guarantees the excellence and uniqueness of every piece entrusted to us.

TIMELAB

The external eye.

TIMELAB is an independent watchmaking laboratory based in Geneva, with whom Artisans de Genève collaborates to guarantee objective and rigorous evaluation of each client’s watch on which we have intervened. Aware that one cannot be judge and party, we chose to work closely with this renowned Geneva institution so that the aesthetics, performance, and reliability of each piece are assessed independently. This provides an additional guarantee of quality, ensuring that our clients’ watches meet the highest standards.

Adam Levine

"A watch is the embodiment of all your achievements. It’s a very personal object. I like classic watches, but I also want mine to be unique: it was very important for me to have something that resembles me, a unique piece that stands out from all the others."

Adam Levine
Lenny Kravitz

"I’ve been collecting watches for more than 20 years now and have always had a special affection for classic timepieces, loaded with history and life. When I met Artisans de Genève, I immediately seized the opportunity to create my own version of the classic watch. It was also extremely important that the timepiece was to be made by true experts without any compromise in the quality.."

Lenny Kravitz
Lance Armstrong

“I have had a complicated life and a complicated history. But the story isn’t over. I don’t think about what my legacy will be in 50 years or 100 years from now…that’s a waste of time. The best thing is to live your life, with purpose and honor.”

Lance Armstrong
John McEnroe

"I am a collector, timepieces have always been a source of pleasure for me. My watch had to be above all beautiful, very beautiful, elegant and modern at the same time. I like to be on time, I don’t want to be late with a watch like this, you don’t have any excuses."

John McEnroe
Spike Lee

"I love this watch. (I love the Daytona Rolex®. I own several from back in the day.) I love the late great Paul Newman. I only got to meet him once. I did the film 25th Hour and I wanted to show Paul love — a homage to him and one of my favorite films, Cool Hand Luke. So I asked Mr. Newman if I could have the poster of Cool Hand Luke in the apartment of Edward Norton’s character. Mr. Newman not only agreed, but he also signed the poster for me. This is truly one of my most prized pieces of art. This watch encompasses excellence, tradition, style, and love."

Spike Lee
Andrea Pirlo

"This is the third customization I’ve done with Artisans de Genève. They’ve become like a second family; they know me so well. For this new project, I wanted to keep the codes we had developed together in the past, the blue and rose gold, the skeletonized cut, by adapting them to my Aquanaut® model."

Andrea Pirlo
Rubens Barrichello

"I have always had a thing for the Daytona®, and I wanted to make it my own way. Thanks to Artisans de Genève, my timepiece is now unparalleled, it bears details that make it unique as an F1 car, like my car. A unique movement, particular shapes, exceptional curves, and an extraordinary mechanism. I love it! Artisans de Genève has managed to achieve a technical prowess, each detail is perfectly executed with the same concern for extreme perfection that we find in the racing world."

Rubens Barrichello
Juan Pablo Montoya

"This year, I turn 50. It’s been 20 years since I set the speed record at Monza. My son just got his first F2 podium finish. My story isn’t just about titles; it’s about the moments and emotions I carry with me."

Juan Pablo Montoya
Mika Häkkinnen

"Time can be your ally or your worst enemy. My whole career has been about being on time. When a race begins, it’s my only objective. The technicality played a key role in the project, largely through the watch’s skeleton movement. When I met Artisans of Genève, I was immediately struck by their passion and their quest for perfection. Owning a personalized watch is a real privilege, and this project was the culmination of everything that I’d wished for."
