Creative Watchmaking

A workshop human scale
Artisans de Genève embodies the fusion between individuals and watchmaking. This is a House where ideas are reimagined collaborative way, according to our clients’ aspirations.

An art dedicated to others
Since its inception, our workshop has worked meticulously to offer our passionate clientele the most personalised horology experience.

Guardians of memories
Creativity has been at the heart of our workshop. Our work almost always consists of bringing together the memories of each individual and transcribing them into the language of watchmaking.

From pencil to reality
Heart of Namibia adventure began on paper, with sketches and a multitude of ideas inspired by our customer, which we refined together over time.
From Immensity To The Infinitely Small
"I have always been fascinated by watch complications. They represent far more than mere additional functionalities on a watch; they are the very essence of horological art. Among them, the moon phase is undoubtedly one of the most poetic and captivating. What draws me the most is how it connects the art of watchmaking to the universe.
A few years ago, Artisans de Genève integrated a large moon phase into a watch model that I wear daily. This inspired me to embark on my own horological adventure. I wanted to go even further, and Artisans de Genève guided me in selecting a meteorite dial and a moon phase combining aventurine stone and mother of pearl. This unique piece reflects the beauty and magic of the universe on my wrist."

Sourcing Of Materials And Colors
Every material and hue is carefully selected to embody both elegance and durability, resulting in a timeless and truly personalized timepiece.

Two stones
At our client’s request, and for the first time, we created a large moon entirely made from precious stones.

Dark night blue ceramic
Dark night blue ceramic, enhanced with platinum engraving.

Match with the dial
The Namibian meteorite insert was entirely machined from the same stone block to perfectly match with the dial.

We developed an in-house horological complication to provide our client with a quick and simple reading of the moon phase.
Focus On Modifications

Horological complication
Moon phase display. The 28 pieces that make up the additional module were entirely developed and manufactured in our workshops. Each piece is hand-decorated and angled.

Dedicated dial
Cut from a 6 kilograms block of stone, the dial was reduced to a thickness of 0.30mm before undergoing a chemical treatment to reveal the beauty of the natural patterns and unique textures of the stone.

Moon disk
To match the meteorite dial, we made the starry sky in midnight blue aventurine, and the moon in mother of pearl. Crafted on a hand-polished black steel base, the contrast between the two natural stones offers a particularly unique effect.

Horological customisation is a very special step in the life of a collector. For years I have collected timepieces, mainly vintage, where every detail was crucial. I especially did not want a watch where a part had been modified or replaced. Over the years, my perspective has evolved significantly. The creativity and craftsmanship of Artisans De Genève inspired me to write my own story on my favourite timepiece. Modifying my watch to incorporate my tastes and desires is truly a unique experience.
Inside The Customization
Each customer brings with them their story, their passions and their desires. Our workshop is transformed into a real meeting place, dedicated to the realization of all their desires.
