Creative Watchmaking

A workshop human scale
Artisans de Genève embodies the fusion between individuals and watchmaking. This is a House where ideas are reimagined collaborative way, according to our clients’ aspirations.

An art dedicated to others
Since its inception, our workshop has worked meticulously to offer our passionate clientele the most personalised horology experience.

Guardians of memories
Creativity has been at the heart of our workshop. Our work almost always consists of bringing together the memories of each individual and transcribing them into the language of watchmaking.

From pencil to reality
The Superamerica adventure began on paper, with sketches and a multitude of ideas inspired by our customer, which we refined together over time.
Superamerica, Driving Emotions
Superamerica is the story of a childhood memory, etched in leather and copper. A tribute to rarity and beauty: the legendary Ferrari 400 Superamerica®.
It all began in the 1970s, when a young S.BH first laid eyes on his grandfather’s sleek, powerful Superamerica®. A model as rare as it was unforgettable. Like the aged patina that gives depth to the car’s materials, the copper bezel of this Superamerica-inspired piece will evolve over time. Its color draws from the deep greenish-blue, almost black shade of the original bodywork.

Sourcing Of Materials And Colors
Every material and hue is carefully selected to embody both elegance and durability, resulting in a timeless and truly personalized timepiece.

Deep blue-green
The dial’s rich blue-green lacquer mirrors the body of the original Ferrari®.

Copper bezel
Like the aged patina that gives depth to the car’s materials, the copper bezel of this Superamerica-inspired piece will evolve over time.

“Old Vintage” material
The slender, diamond-polished and patinated hands are treated with a very “Old Vintage” luminescent material inspired by oldtimer watches.

Vintage-inspired
The customization is paired with a bracelet featuring riveted steel links and echoing 1970s watch bands.

The Superamerica was a real challenge. The copper ring surrounding the dial was a precise request from the customer. It required extensive technical fine-tuning, but we rose to the challenge.
Focus On Modifications

Vintage touch
Time as a signature. Machined from CuA1 copper and treated to achieve a warm, retro hue, the bezel evokes vintage car detailing. It’s one of a kind and will develop a patina over time.

Lacquer dial
Deep blue-green. To replicate its exact tone, a 1970s-era technique was revived. Copper appliques and weathered subdials were aged using a proprietary method developed by Artisans de Genève: the Age Process Finish (APF).

Semi-skeletonized movement
Contrast in motion. Beneath the copper-toned rotor, the engine comes alive. The movement is partially skeletonized on the back and hand-beveled, featuring a dark anthracite NAC finish.

Balance bridge
This car is my childhood. Its color, the scent of the leather, the V12’s roar… Every detail in this timepiece takes me back. The 1970s ‘Notte Blu’ lacquer, the copper accents, the aged dials: it's a tribute to mechanical beauty, to emotion, engineered.
Inside The Customization
