Every day, I strive to surprise myself. Beveling is a work of endurance and instinct. You take the file, shape the bevel by hand, then polish it until it shines with a perfect mirror finish. There’s no machine that can do this. You have to listen to the part, sense if everything is just right: the pressure, the angle, the consistency. Sometimes, anything can influence the outcome: the weather, our own state of mind…It’s a craft of connection: between yourself, the material and the movement you reveal.
