The Classic Challenge is a tribute to vintage timepieces. Our client, a collector with a passion for the 1970's motor racing world, wanted a personalization inspired by these years, which also marked a turning point in watchmaking history. This challenge was twofold, as our client desired a variation of his personalization represented by two dials.
This personalization has been requested by a private customer. It is a sample of our know-how and of the personalization services made upon request of our customers. If you would like to customize your timepiece in the same way or following your wishes, please contact us. Please note that due to the limited capacity of our workshops, we are not able to satisfy every demands so please accept our apologies in advance.
Style, elegance, and simplicity. The essence of this challenge was to successfully transform each of our client’s pieces by adorning them with emblematic details inspired from vintage timepieces, such as the bakelite bezel, the “hat” hands, or the satin-finish while preserving the features of the existing model.

It was a significant challenge to make this timepiece unique by giving it the aesthetic details of watchmaking icons while maintaining the reliability of the Rolex® 116520 model.
The hands are refined, diamond polished to give them the typical « hat » angle. They perfectly underline the richness of the dial. The latter represent actual figures of the style of vintage dials, from which they take up the codes and details. They are handmade in silver and black.
