My job takes me all over the world.
When people ask me what I like most, I always say it’s traveling and discovering. I’ve always worn the same watch—an old GMT, the traveler’s watch, by excellence. For a long time, I wanted it to bear my signature, to remind me of my travels. I’ve been following the Artisans de Genève’s chronicles, and each project they unveil is a discovery, as are my new culinary experiences, whether from a great chef or a small neighborhood restaurant: something creative and technical but, above all, full of character.
Therefore, it only seemed natural for me to entrust them with my World Traveller project.
Gastronomy is a skilful blend of mastery, sharing and know-how, similar to handcrafting a watch. Our job is to carve memories, to make each moment, each detail, each little story, the ingredient of a unique recipe: our client’s timekeeper.
Giving “Mr Anonymous’s” watch a voice was a true moment of watchmaking gastronomy.
Today, my watch is my reflection. It reflects everything I am and what I love in life: the time to do things well, gentleness, strength, precision…To travel the world with this timepiece on my wrist is, without words, the most intimate witness of my life’s most intimate witness.Mr Anonymous
Curves, volumes, materials, textures. Each element reflects “Mr Anonymous’s” world and life. The blue ceramic bezel is imbued with the cities chosen by our client and matches the complexity of the caliber 3186 skeleton, entirely reworked by hand. We’ve applied a succession of handcrafted finishes: polishing, bevelling, sandblasting, to give his timepiece a signature of timeless know-how.
Take inspiration from The World Traveler project and personalize your timepiece with the cities that are dear to your heart.
